Supper and Ghost Hunt at The New Inn, Lechlade. October 17th 2026

The New Inn dates back several hundred years, with origins believed to reach into the 17th century. Like many traditional coaching inns of its time, it once welcomed weary travellers, merchants, and locals seeking rest along the River Thames. Over the years, the building has evolved, but much of its original character remains—low beams, hidden corners, and creaking floorboards that whisper stories of the past.

Its long history has seen countless lives pass through its doors, from innkeepers and travellers to those who may never have truly left…

Tracy and I stayed there in February and experienced activity in Room 1, thought to have been a previous landlady. There are also stories told of a gentleman spirit seen in the bar area in the evening.

We will have a number of rooms to investigate and then the bar area after closing hours. There will be an evening meal of which there’s a number of choices. Please select your meal in the booking.
Arrival time is 7.30 PM. Please grab a drink from the bar and then meet us in the party room behind the pub. We will be aiming to eat at 8 PM.
